We have an exciting Stream Train update for you today! We are preparing for our first big external playtest that will grant weekend access to members of the Half Past Yellow community. If you want to try out Stream Train with your friends and give us feedback that will help shape the release, sign up today!
If you sign up for the playtest via the Stream Train Steam page, you have a chance to be granted access to the playtest between September 11th and September 14th. If you are granted access you will have the ability to invite up to 4 friends to play the game with you, directly through Steam! We will have a simple bug report system and a feedback form available in the main menu of the game, but we will also be keeping an eye on the Steam Community Hub during the weekend.
Running a public playtest like this is a new experience for us and we can't wait to hear what the community has to say about Stream Train!
If you don't get a chance to join the playtest, don't worry, Stream Train will release on Steam October 15th 2026. Check out the release date reveal trailer!
September is shaping up to be a big month for us. Stream Train is featured in THREE Steam festivals in a row, which is mind blowing for us! Last week, we showed Stream Train off in person to press and influencers at The MIX in Cologne. Today we dropped a brand new gameplay trailer as part of Clemmy's Best Indie Games Fall Showcase and next week Stream Train will be featured in the Prismatic Indie Game Showcase. We are beyond ecstatic with the response that we are getting from Stream Train from curators and we can't wait for players to try out the game.
Now that we have announced the release date for Stream Train, we will be posting more cool behind the scenes stuff about the game. Keep an eye on our blog or the Steam Page if you want to learn as much as possible about Stream Train 🚂
